Nibiru is a modern digital ecosystem that brings ticket sales, event discovery, and summer activity management together in one place, across both web and mobile. The platform connects schedules, locations, and live experiences so visitors can see what is happening and secure their spot in just a few taps. Codemelt was tasked with building a complete digital ecosystem for ticket sales, event discovery, and summer activity management that works seamlessly across web and mobile. Nibiru offers visitors frictionless ticket purchasing flows tied directly to schedules, locations, and live experiences, alongside an interactive activities calendar that centralizes everything an attendee needs in a single view. The product was built to scale, supporting multiple event types and the high traffic that comes with peak season.


The concept behind Nibiru was to make discovering an event and buying a ticket feel like one effortless motion. The challenge was delivering that simplicity on top of a platform robust enough to handle many event types and sharp spikes in seasonal demand. Our approach focused on custom ticketing journeys designed around usability, speed, and conversion, supported by an interactive calendar that brings events, schedules, and ticket access into a single experience.
To build Nibiru we combined a mobile-first frontend with a scalable architecture, integrating the platform with the existing backend infrastructure while keeping the user-facing experience seamless. Using Next.js with Zustand for state management, TailwindCSS for styling, and Zod for schema validation, our team delivered a product where browsing and purchasing flow naturally from one to the next. The outcome is a unified platform that absorbs peak summer traffic while keeping every interaction smooth for the people using it.
This assignment relied on close collaboration between our design, development, and QA teams. Our designers first shaped the ticketing journeys and activities calendar with a strong focus on usability, before the development team brought those flows to life and connected them to the existing infrastructure. Throughout the project, our QA and project management efforts kept the experience consistent and dependable across every device and event type.
