Beam is the first omnichain liquidity layer launched on ZetaChain, enabling token swaps, cross-chain interoperability, and focusing on ve(3,3) concepts. Powered by ZetaChain, Beam redefines DeFi by providing a fast and intuitive trading experience. Beam is the first protocol to leverage omnichain technology on ZetaChain, to bring innovative ways of swapping and investing by being more than a ve(3,3) DEX.

The vision for Beam was to create an omnichain marketplace, supporting interoperability across BTC, Polygon, ETH, Zeta, Blast and much more. Beam's main strength is its ve(3,3) mechanism, which incentivizes cooperation between token holders, liquidity providers and the protocol itself and ensures that platform governance is shared amongst all users.

The mission went beyond creating just another DEX. Codemelt assisted Beam with a staged launch of their platform, starting with the deployment of swap and liquidity modules. Within a second phase, the ve(3,3) module will be launched, including voting and bribing options as well as veNFT positions. Balancing these priorities required a meticulous approach to design, technology, and UX.

Codemelt tackled this challenge and ensured compatibility with ZetaChain's infrastructure, delivering a user-friendly exchange, with an intuitive design, that was protected against vulnerabilities. Our blockchain developers build the entire Beam from scratch, including smart contracts for token swaps, liquidity pools and more. Our result was that Beam an innovative, privacy-first DEX designed to excel in the competitive DeFi landscape.

To design and develop a product that met Beam's goals, Codemelt embarked on a deep-dive research phase. This stage focused on understanding the technical, market, and user-centric aspects of Beam, ensuring the result would align with Beam's vision.
