Moonies is a web3 NFT-based game, employing a Play2Earn model and allowing users to learn about the crypto space. Users engage in a series of mini-games, where they can maximize earnings.

In order to further expand its ecosystem and increase adoption, deploying its platform on the Solana Blockchain was required for Moonies, due to its performance and scalability potential. Moreover, Moonies required a specialized mini-game that would allow users to upgrade their NFTs.

Codemelt’s strong web3 expertise allowed us to build a cutting-edge NFT-game platform for Moonies. The platform’s Frontend was built withReact.js, ensuring a responsive and intuitive interface for players. The robust backend architecture was developed with Nest.js, efficiently supported by a strong database, managed with Postgre.SQL

The Solana Network implementation enabled almost instant transaction confirmation. We also ensured compatibility with Ledger hardware-wallets, allowing for easy withdrawals. Codemelt also integrated additional 3rd party interfaces, such as Tradingview for real-time data updates, and tensor.trade for automatic NFT trading.

Our dev and designer teams closely collaborated on Moonie.land, with the final product placing an increased focus on usability, UX/UI and user engagement. In addition, our creative team designed asynchronous animations within the NFT Upgrader, which are based on frame-motion.
